What the numbers mean for a library like yours

A mid-sized public library with an active Friends group and a steady flow of donations typically sees a few hundred to around a thousand dollars a month on the revenue share, once the first boxes have had a few months to sell. Academic and specialty collections run higher per book. A one-time clear-out on the buyout option is simpler: a flat rate per book, one payment.

The honest caveat: the revenue share takes time. Books sell at their own pace, so the first statement is small and the payments build as more of your inventory is listed. Partners who have stayed with us for years are the ones with the largest totals above.
